Taste the Walk

Herinner je onze knotsgekke familiewandeldag waarvan je in het verleden al verschillende edities mochten beleven. Nooit meegemaakt? Lees dan beslist verder! Het is een originele formule waarbij we je meenemen doorheen onze mooie Hagelandse streek voor een wandeling van een drietal uurtjes. Onderweg kom je verschillende standjes tegen met verrassende animatie en lekkere ‘bites en drinks’. Terug op het vertrekpunt wacht je een heerlijk buffet met dit jaar, jawel, Vlaamse klassiekers op het menu. Geniet van live muziek, een lekker biertje of glas wijn. Vandaar TASTE THE WALK.

Maar waarom dan ‘International’?

Met deze editie proberen we voor het eerst ook te focussen op de internationale gemeenschap van de Oost-Brabantse regio: buitenlandse werknemers van onze ondernemingen, medewerkers aan de universitaire gemeenschap en Gasthuisberg, enz … Vandaar dat de voertaal tijdens het evenement ook ‘Flenglish’ mag zijn. Haal je beste Engels boven en ontmoet mensen uit fantastische culturen. Het wordt een topdag! Breng vrienden en familie mee en nodig buitenlandse collega’s uit. Wij van Rotaryclub Leuven-Rotselaar staan te springen om er een daverende lap op te geven na twee jaren van online vergaderen!

We starten dit jaar aan Sportoase De Toren in Rotselaar.

Taste The Walk is an initiative of the Rotary Club Leuven-Rotselaar.

It is an original and crazy family walk. We let you stroll through our beautiful nature for about three hours. Along the way, surprising stands with funny entertainment and tasty snacks and drinks pop up in the most unexpected places. Afterwards, the participants are offered a delicious buffet with Flemish regional dishes, you can taste our delicious beer and there is music and entertainment. Hence TASTE THE WALK.

For whom?

It is obviously not the first time we are organizing this, but the first international edition. We especially want to invite you, foreigner in Leuven. Do you work at one of our Leuven companies, at the university or hospital, or are you a student? Then this is a great opportunity for you: discover beautiful places and expand your network. Have fun for a day with the whole family. We will make sure that the walk is buggy-friendly. Of course, bring your (Flemish) colleagues along, they are welcome too.

When?

Sunday 24 April, Departure free between 10:00 and 12:00 A.M.

Where?

Sportoase De Toren in Rotselaar Torenstraat 115, 3110 Rotselaar - sufficient parking provided.
